Catch My CallGoogle Limited Use Compliance
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Affirmative Limited Use statement: The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Catch My Call (MOTIF TECHNOLOGIES INC) optionally connects a business owner’s Google Calendar so our AI phone receptionist can check availability and, after the owner approves, create, update, or delete appointment events.
How Workspace / Calendar data is used with AI
- Google OAuth tokens and Calendar API calls (free/busy queries and event create/update/delete) run on Catch My Call’s own servers.
- For the live phone conversation only, a summarized availability result (for example, busy vs open windows for a day) may be returned as a tool result to our voice AI stack so the receptionist can speak accurate availability. That is a user-facing booking feature shown in our product.
- We do not use, transfer, or sell Google Workspace / Calendar user data—including raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived data—to create, train, or improve foundational or generalized AI/ML models.
- We do not allow third-party AI providers to use Google Workspace / Calendar user data obtained through our Google OAuth connection to train or improve their generalized models.
- We do not operate self-hosted offline models that receive Google Workspace API data outside the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party AI providers involved in the voice path
- Vapi — voice AI orchestration for live calls
- OpenAI — LLM used through Vapi for conversation turns (API models such as GPT‑4.1 mini; not the consumer ChatGPT product for this path)
Separate dashboard helpers (for example, Anthropic Claude for business setup autofill) do not receive Google Calendar OAuth tokens or Workspace Calendar API payloads.
Training / retention controls
- OpenAI’s API terms provide that API customer content is not used to train OpenAI models by default (unless a customer explicitly opts in).
- Vapi’s terms state they do not share customer content with third-party services for those services’ independent model training. Catch My Call uses Vapi only to provide the live receptionist feature.
- Google OAuth refresh tokens are stored only in Catch My Call’s application database and are never sent to AI model providers.
